Death and Grievance is topic that we all try to avoid, but it
happens each day. We are nervous because we never know who will be “called home” next. This is a difficult topic to write or talk about because it hurts on so many levels, but it something that needs to be spoken about. It changes a person’s attitude or activities all together. Everything you thought you knew about a person can change in a flash of an eye. It is a private moment that you should be thinking about yourself and how to keep your sanity, but others tend to focus on others and are still selfless. Sometimes it’s okay to take grievance time for yourself. You can’t bottle everything away because in the end you’ll explode and trust me I’ve been there, and done that. This is bittersweet because someone just left your life, but at the same time they are joining union with God The Father Almighty, and He is going to take away all of their worries, pain, and agony. Something’s are meant to happen to show that there are better things coming your way. That He is about to send His blessing upon you. Your lost loved one is watching you in Heaven, and is there every step of the way not physically, but spiritually. Being humble will definitely put you in a place of relaxation, and in perfect union in being open to all things. There aren’t words that can profess the extent of sorrow, but these make beautiful stories one day to tell your children one day. You can tell your children that in losing someone you gained something. God truly shows us who’s God, and proving that life is a precious gift, and that we should live everyday like it’s our last, and without regrets. Losing a person is the worst feeling in the world. It reminds of Mary when she felt as if a dagger had pierced her heart. It hurt her that much knowing the Son she had raised was to fulfill God’s plan by dying on a cross to redeem us all. Going through the grievance process is like walking the Via Dolorosa. You’re trying to adjust to life in wake of losing someone…its difficult, but the best thing to do is to offer it up. Offer it up and pray HARD! Prayer and meditation are the best solutions. I know it won’t bring people back, but it will keep them alive inside your mind, heart, and soul. If you are the person who is trying to make things easier on mourning families I thank you because it truly takes a lot of strength, time, and patience. It isn’t an easy task. I’ve been there and done that I know how it feels. You want to do so much for them, but the most you can actually do for them is comfort them, and send prayers. You must be as positive as possible, and make sure they stay on track, and succeed in life. In Revelation 21:4 its says “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” “The Lord is close to the broken hearted….” Just remember as long as you live you will always have favor with God, and He will grant you miracles when you least expect it. Family is suppose to stick together in this test not disband. It is the time for all to be consoling one another, and this should be the strongest way to strengthen your relationship as a family. God is here and ever-present don't ever feel like He has done you wrong because in the end He knows your mind and will protect you. He has a set plan for each and everyone of us that only He and Him alone knows about. All we can do is be lively and follow God.
“The Prayer” by Celine Dion & Josh Groban
I pray you'll be our eyes
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don't know
Let this be our
prayer
As we go our way
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your
Grace
To a place where we'll be safe
La luce che tu dai
I pray
we'll find your light
Nel cuore restera
And hold it in our hearts
A
ricordarci che
When stars go out each night
L'eterna stella sei
Nella mia preghiera
Let this be our prayer
Quanta fede c'e
When shadows fill our day
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe.
Sogniamo un mondo senza piu
violenza
Un mondo di giustizia e di speranza
Ognuno dia la mano al
suo vicino
Simbolo di pace e di fraternita
La forza che ci dai
We ask that life be kind
E'il desiderio che
And watch us from above
Ognuno trovi amore
We hope each soul will find
Intorno e dentro a
se
Another soul to love
Let this be our prayer
Let this be our
prayer
Just like every child
Just like every child
Needs to find
a place, Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe
E
la fede che
Hai acceso in noi
Sento che ci salvera

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil,
for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted
Time is a physician that heals every grief.
Come, ye disconsolate, where're you languish,
Come at the shrine of God fervently kneel;
Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish- Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
St. Thomas Moore
Every evening I turn my worries over to God. He's
going to be up all night anyway. ~Mary C. Crowley
