http://www.americancatholic.org/Features/Saints/saint.aspx?id=1184 Happy Monday! It is truly a great day. Good woke us up this morning and gave us the gift of breathe, and another day to live. The topic at hand today is family. The definition of family is sharing of common ancestry. So, in other words the common saying is "Blood is THICKER than Water." But what if I told you that's not true. I know what you are thinking. "My golly she's finally lost it. " Very much so but my point is sometimes people outside your blood "family" become the best family. Not everyone has a family they can run to, and I have realized that in life. One thing about non blood related families is that ypu can choose who you want in it. lol I made a joke! Friends and people from the non blood stand point understand you more clearly because they are around you more. God says "We are all brothers and sisters." Technically speaking we are all related in the eyes of God. He placed people in our lives because we may need them at any time. This does not give you the right to disregard your own blood at all though. Your blood is who you are and your related family who are just as important. Your mother gave birth to you, be appreciative. Siblings or your extended family are there when you need advice. There is enough love to circulate. Everyone you encounter is family, so great them with utmost respect and be as influential as possible. You only have one live to live make the most of it.
Today is FRIDAY and I hope we are all feeling blessed because we woke up this morning by the grace of God and once again ITS FRIDAY. This week I learned 2 things: patience and good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue and it is not easy to grasp. It is quite frustrating when trying to stay humble and with a open mind during high level conflicts. Another thing is that God things come up those who wait. The reason I day that is because I n have dreamed of attending college since I was a young girl. Even though, life had beaten me down and bruised me I still kept going and in am proud to say I recieved my acceptance to Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky. I was so happy I could've cried because my life had built up to that one moment. It could've give better but it happens. I say have patience because if I didn't have it I wouldnt be in a good place for my life. There is a plan in motion for each and every one of us. We may not know the nature not extent but we know the person responsible and doing things in our best interest. I pray that no one doubts the power of God Himself. He suffered humility and anguish. n He shed blood and tears to get to this point in life. He redeemed Himself for us and now we pay the price by bearing our daily cross.
