Daniel in the lions den is probably the most interesting story to me In the Bible. Even though the government passed laws saying that it was illegal to pray, Daniel continued to do what God wanted him to do, even though it would get him into trouble. God saved Daniel by shutting the lion's mouths. When Daniel got out of the lion's den the next day, the king threw the people who had plotted Daniel's death into lion's den, and the lions, who were indeed hungry, ate the people before they even hit the ground. This proof 2 things that one God is always here even in horrible situations and the second one is that whatever you have done has already been done to you. God showed Daniel much needed mercy because the lions could've ate him at any time but didn't because of his amazing faith in Our Lord. It proves to us that we should always pray in time of need and put Our trust in God.
