A stewardship is a theological belief that humans are responsible for God's creation, and should tend to it. The examples of this is discovered all over the Bible like in Genesis 2:15 "And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it...", "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also..."(Mt 6:21). It is imperative that us as God's people protect His creation, because God takes care of us so why not do the same for His creation. We often ruin it by polluting it with waste, paper, and many more things. God shows us love, so in return we should show Him love by picking up after others if they leave trash, go outside and pick up trash on the side of the road, etc. Arbor Day or Earth Day would be the perfect time to show love to the planet. In a new way, all Christians are stewards of the earth and of the spiritual graces given through Christ's death and Resurrection. We have received not only the earth, but also many spiritual riches to be used to advance the kingdom of
God (Lk. 19:11-27). Our Lord expects that we will use all for His glory and the salvation of souls. I want to take this time to thank everyone who have taken the time to read what I have prepared. Tell your friends and spread the word! You can also find me on Twitter @Declanlover250 God Bless! Everyone is welcome to eat at the table with Jesus, but how many will come? Jesus broke bread and drank wine with sinners and disease written people. Imagine your heart as the table. You invite Jesus into your heart, but will you accept it. Jesus did NOT JUDGE! He did not have CLIQUES! He joined, talked, and treated everyone with the same amount of respect. Jesus often says give your seat to others, and take your place at whatever position is offered to you. Treat everyone like they are Hesus because you never know who will enter your home. God is love and invites us all the time. He invites us into heaven but in the end how many of us will enter? Are you willing to enter His Kingdom? |
